Ridiculously Awesome

I still don't completely believe they closed the University, but there is no doubt that I liked coming home early, I'll love sleeping in tomorrow, and this hot chocolate tastes great.

Now, some pointless nostalgia:

Zoobilee Zoo! Indulge yourself in the opening credits! [Found on this site which includes many other nostalgic TV credits.] Send your favorite Zooble an email at the Zoobilee Zoo fan club (apparently sponsored by Hallmark)! See what else those crazy Zoobles have done in their careers!

Indulge in this pointless nostalgia folks, because its Pointless Nostalgia Wednesday!

My sister loved Zoobilee Zoo and it fucking horrified me. There always seemed to be something vaguely menacing, to me, about the whole show. I also always felt that there was something uncomfortably sexual about the characters. This is probably all in my imagination, but the show still gives me the creeps.

Yeah, that show freaked me out, too. It was hideously ugly. Our sister also melted cheese in a bowl and ate it with a fork, so there you have it.

I always liked the show because I like singing and dancing even in creepy forms. It really is creepy though -- just look at Ben Vereen's facial expressions in the opening credits. Wow.

i agree wholeheartedly about the weird sexuality of the show. there definitely was a faint sense of molestation about watching it. maybe we picked up on some of the weird tension there had to have been among the cast (i mean look at them, they're fucking monsters.) or maybe that they REALLY liked their costumes.
