Have you eaten at Fricano's Deli yet? Because you totally should. After we first tried this place out, we ended up going there three weeks in a row. The sandwiches are amazing. In addition it is right by campus, and it is open until ten at night (so night shifters, you should go eat there right now. No joke.) I've had the Caprice (twice) and the Reuben. Both wonderful. Also, they are nice, they have interesting art on the walls, and the speedway market next door sells beer, so you can pick that up while you are over there.

that place is sorta right around the corner from my apartment and i jog past it several times a week, but have never gone in despite its inviting cuteness. so on your advice i ended my run there this evening and got a huge italian club sandwich and potato salad (those folks were indeed really friendly) and then went next door to get a big beer. they are in my refrigerator to be consumed later as i watch the dvd of notorious. i'm inordinately excited about it, as you can tell by the fact that i thought it merited a comment on your blog.
How was the potato salad? I've been meaning to try that...
so delicious. it had carrots in it, so i was skeptical because carrots don't belong in potato salad, if you ask me. but they were cooked to just the right texture. and not only did it taste good, the portion was huge!
