From John Ford's Donovan's Reef (1963), starring John Wayne and Lee Marvin, which is good all the way through, but which is particularly awesome for the first fifteen minutes or so. I've never seen so much beer bottle humor in my life.

I am no longer having parties for my birthday. I will no longer invite people over for barbeque, or to go out for drinks with me. From now on, I'm throwing my house open each May to host a brawl. (You'll come, won't you?)
I have an "all brawl" policy when it comes to going out: all brawls, all the time. Birthday brawls are particularly inviting.
